New Contract: Australian Air Warfare Destroyer

Marine Data Systems has been awarded the contract for the supply of Rudder Position Indicators and Rudder Angle Telegraph Systems for Australia’s Air Warfare Destroyer.

ASC awarded the contract on behalf of the Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) Alliance which is working to deliver three AWDs to the Royal Australian Navy. The contract will provide Marine Data equipment for three warships with an option for a fourth.

MARINE DATA technicians have been working for several months with the AWD Alliance to ensure compliance with the required specifications. All the equipment will be manufactured and tested at Marine Data’s Newport facility and will be shipped in June of this year.
